Casa Grande Artisan Pasta, one of the inaugural signatories of the Good Food in Greenwich charter, and an amazing couple devoted to excellent quality food are delighted to announce that they have achieved Organic status,  certified by the Soil Association. Casa Grande is the manufacturer of the UK’s only  artisan organic pasta and is based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

They make artisan pasta through a slow drying process, so it tastes and cooks like fresh pasta and has the shelf life of dried, lasting at least 6 months. They source all their ingredients locally, and use only fresh organic eggs and vegetables with no preservatives (and no GM).  Their unique, wholesome flavours currently include Egg, Wholemeal, Vegan, Spinach and Beetroot.

New Gardening Sessions in the Goodwill Garden 2015

Age UK Bromley & Greenwich,

Tuesdays 10:30am to 12:30pm 2015

All ages are welcome to attend these sessions in which an informal presentation is followed by practical work in the Goodwill Garden outside. No need to book, just turn up.

Free Food Business Training with GCDA at Woolwich Common Community Centre!

Thursday 12th February from 10am – 4pm

Whether you’re already running a food business, or have an idea for one, this training is for you! A day covering all the most important elements of setting up, planning and running a good food business.

The day includes:

• Key principles of menu planning which maximise the financial opportunity of sustainable and healthy food
• Menu planning and production systems which reduce chef time and save money
• How to source and manage relevant suppliers that save time and money
• The principles of financial management
• How to promote your business effectively
• Practical tools to implement the above
